We are beginning an upgrade of our metrics database to a higher-availability cluster.
During this upgrade, our metrics service will display metrics found in both our old metrics cluster, and the new higher-availability cluster.
As an end-user, this will affect in one way: when you access metrics in the Dashboard, you might see two per container in the graph. One line will be labelled "legacy store", and the other will not. This simply represents where the data was fetched from: all data points still refer to the same container.
We will begin the upgrade by migrating metrics for resources deployed on shared stacks today. We're planning to migrate metrics for resources deployed on production stacks early next week.
